We could have a lot of money to use after next year huh!…But would the organization use the money to sign some players?

dudes, I Just want to add maybe we should keep Johjima , Jon you did say that Johjima was starting to hit the ball to the opposite field a lot more lately….well he had 2 hits to right field in today’s game and also 1 hit up the middle maybe he’ starting to pay attention now!

If we end up retaining Jojo I would like to see him move to the back up spot to allow some up and comers to go forward and be all they can be.

Looking at that payroll of Silva ,Washed-up and Batista ,man it just makes me cring to see all that good money just thrown down the crapper and besides there just taking up roster spots too.

I’m interested in hearing about any bright spots in this duldrum of a year, for instance , Corcaran has been pretty impressive along with RRS.I’m really looking forward to next year to see how he fairs as a starter in our rotation.

well my last words for tonight is win Nationals win…

    maybe we should keep Johjima

We don’t really have much of a choice.

Since he is practically untradeable this offseason I’m glad that he’s showing signs of life. Maybe next season won’t be such a disaster for him.

that doesn’t mean we can buy out the rest of his contract for 2 million does it?

The $2M is for buying out the 2012 option. Either we pay him $12M in 2012 or we pay him $2M to go away after 2011. Same with Putz, Lopez and Betancourt.

Geoff Baker reported today that Kenji Johjima has an opt out clause in his contract. The likelyhood of him ever using it are slim to none, but if he does it will be a huge blessing for this team.
