If it’s any consolation, Jeff Clement’s blunder on Sunday, pictured below, was only 7th on Baseball Tonight’s “Not Web Gems” collection. First place went to Richie Sexson. Sexson, playing first for the Yankees, was about to break towards homeplate on a bunt when Andy Pettitte, who is known for his deceptive pickoff move, threw towards first base and pegged Sexson in the shoulder.
In a season lost, take solace in what you can.
