ESPN News Ticker has said that a deal between the Yankees and Mariners for Washburn is close to happening but it did not say who else was in the deal. Updates when they come out.

UPDATE: FSN has said the deal is Washburn and Vidro for Melky Cabrera and Kei Igawa. This is a great deal for the Mariners. Lee Pelekoudas has already done a better job then Bavasi.

UPDATE #2: USS Mariner says its a done deal and Geoff Baker says a deal is imminent but Jarrod Washburn said he has not been approached by the M’s about a trade and Melky Cabrera is still in the lineup for the Yankees.
