In Case None of You Saw This on Wednesday

Pure gold. This makes me respect him a little bit more, which means my respect level is now at like negative 250%. Either way, there was a lot of truth in that. Yes, the fans are pissed off. Yes, it will take a total team effort.
Let’s see how that carries over into the Boston series, where we see Felix vs. Colon tonight. As I type, the Mariners are up 2-0 and Felix has just gotten out of a bases loaded jam. Hopefully that press conference is still in the back of their minds.

I laughed when I heard it….AND….HOLY CRAP!….The Mariners beat the Red Sox 8-0 today….Maybe…Just maybe, we can win every fifth game when Felix pitches…

after reading the paper online, i just gotta say that I hope KJR gets the rights to mariners on the radio. That sh!t would be awesome…. Being that the recent lineup change pissed me off, I think that the mariners would do best on KJR. Bring on grozz and get shannon back to kjr !!!

I thought just as telling was how Bavasi spared no one from his criticism. He was hinting that he’d be willing to sit people who don’t perform for long periods of time, and that they’d consider eating the contracts of veterans who don’t perform (Richie Sexson the prime candidate for this fate). This organization makes moves at a snail’s pace, but at least Bavasi is hinting that they’re open to making big changes…basically putting the entire organization (except maybe Ichiro and Felix) on notice.

The King is pitching worthy of his crown right now………..as for the rest of the team……they’re playing like court jesters…

possible rotation next year:
1. Erik Bedard
2. Felix Hernandez
3. Brandon Morrow
4. Carlos Sliva
5. RA Dickey
that’s legit

With Brandon Morrow being a 1 inning wonder, I don’t see them pitching him more than 2. Hopefully they can get him to throw a slider or a change-up over the plate. A second pitch would be a great for our future closer…
