Friday - Nate Robertson (2-5, 5.88 ERA) vs. Carlos Silva (3-4, 5.14 ERA)
Saturday - Justin Verlander (2-7, 5.16 ERA) vs. Felix Hernandez (2-5, 3.60 ERA)
Sunday - Kenny Rogers (4-4, 5.88 ERA) vs. Miguel Batista (3-6, 5.98 ERA)
This ought to be interesting. A bunch of high ERAs, the last road stand we had against Detroit, no offense against Boston. Yeah, this is going to be a fun weekend.
I’m loving the series win against Boston, by the way. I’ve been to games where I’ve seen walk-off singles, walk-off home runs, I’ve been to a walk-off grand slam, I’ve seen robbed home runs, diving plays that end up as web gems; I have never been so excited after watching a game than I was when Lopez hit that walk off single to left field.
This is where I was jumping around my house in extreme happiness.
Let’s continue this winning streak.

I missed the first 5 innings last night….and all the scoring…Looks like we needed to start the bullpen last night…

That was extremely strange. I looked up 2 different pitching probables and both had Kenny Rogers. Oh well, lots of walks from Bonderman hopefully could help us. But, he’s pitching well. 3-2 Mariners as I type…

Why, oh, why did they take Morrow out to put JJ into a tie game???
Have you changed your mind about Morrow yet Dustin?
At this rate he might be a CLOSER by the end of the year….

I think when they were looking at pitching matchups during the first day of the series, the commentators said something about bonderman taking rogers spot in this series for some reason or another.
I think a better question to ask is why oh why does mclaren only seem to use morrow and putz from our bullpen? Today wasn’t a save situation, keep putz in the pen until we need him. We need to use other pitchers or else morrow’s arm will fall off.
