Carlos Triunfel’s Suspension

by Jon Shields ~ May 21st, 2008

If you haven’t heard by now, Seattle’s uber-prospect Carlos Triunfel has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules of some kind.  I’ve nosed around a bit, but everyone in-the-know is being very hush hush about the situation.  He has been suspended for a week and a half so far.

From what I gather, the organization wants him to take a little while in Peoria to clear his head and he could be back fairly soon.  We’ll update you if we hear more.

Triunfel had just started hitting after a tough start to the season and was on an absolute tear at the time of suspension.
